Happy Ecovalentine's Day February 13 th

Implementing Eco Valentine's is like a dream of today's scientific and technological civilization. Is it possible that we can preserve and imitate the wisdom of the Baduy tribe? The Baduy tribe is very concerned about preserving the environment in an effort to maintain the balance of the universe. Exploitation of water and land is not excessive for them. This wisdom must be an approach for humans wherever they are, with advances in science and technology they should still have the mindset to protect the environment and nature as the most basic form of awareness.

GREEN-FORUM Taruna Hita Global Foundation held the Buleleng Regency Environmental Community Communication Forum in Singaraja on March 22-23 2026 with the theme:  "THE LOGIC CRISIS GIVES BIRTH TO THE CLIMATE CRISIS THAT IMPACT THE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS" This activity was attended by various groups, from students, college students, to the general public. The event aims to increase public awareness regarding the importance of a logical and responsible mindset in responding to environmental issues, especially the climate crisis whose impacts are increasingly evident.  In an interactive discussion, participants were invited to understand the relationship between human thinking and various environmental damage that occurs. Emphasis is placed on the importance of changing daily behavior as a concrete step to preserve nature. One A4 Pepper 226g CO₂ = equivalent to turning on a 10W LED light for 18 hours 1 ream of 500 sheets = 113kg CO₂ = equivalent to driving a gasoline car 450km 10 sheets/day at the office = 2.26kg CO₂/day. A year = 565kg CO₂ = 25 working trees a year From  the calculation of 226g is as follows: 1. Paper + Ink + Electricity Printer A4 sheet 80gsm + laser ink + printer electricity: ∼20-25g CO₂. Plus the Impact of Loss of Carbon Absorbers, 226g is used including "lost stored carbon" because 1 tree is cut down 1 mature tree absorbs ∼10-22kg CO₂/year. If 1 ream of 500 sheets = 1/8 of a tree, then the "carbon cost" per sheet is ∼25-45g. If you count young trees + factory energy + global transportation, it can go up to 200-227g.
