Balinese Hindus use canang daily, with an even greater demand for flowers during major religious festivals. In this article, the author focuses specifically on the hydrangea flower—a bloom frequently and widely used in canang offerings. Its inclusion is not a matter of strict requirement, but rather stems from the flower's beautiful shape and color, which make it visually appealing to arrange and enhance the overall aesthetic beauty of the canang itself.
