LOVE caring for the earth by caring for water in times of drought is a priority for young people who are members of the Taru Hijau community. This community will be developed in several locations and synergize with communities that have the same vision. including (THK) Sangalangit Village, Patas Village, Julah Village and the newly formed one in Panji Anom Village, Lebahsiung Hamlet, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. A community initiated to provide special attention to actions that love the earth and the environment. Including maintaining water sources and environmental cleanliness from rubbish. Water is a basic need in this village, so by maintaining the existing springs, it means that the community's need for clean water will be maintained, especially in the dry season. The THK community is a group of young people and students. There are also parents who are young at heart who have a high concern for the earth and the environment in the village, in keeping springs and the village environment clean from rubbish.
This community went several times to a number of spring locations in our village to clean the spring locations and plant several trees around the spring locations. The aim is to maintain water discharge during the dry season, so that it continues to flow. The THK community was formed to provide priority and attention to the natural resources in the village to be protected and cared for. So this community must be an example for other generations to always protect nature and existing water sources for the sake of mutual prosperity." The aim of forming this community is to raise mutual concern in protecting and caring for the natural wealth in our village. This includes protecting the water springs in this village.
It is hoped that this community will become a driving force to increase awareness; from an early age for anyone, to always protect nature and the environment as well as possible. So that nature is able to provide great benefits for our lives.
This activity requires joint support to collaborate to realize the Tri Hita Karana Concept to maintain balance or harmony in human life as a big goal for local communities and the world globally..
The THK Banjar Lebahsiung Community, Panji Anom Village, formed an English Corner for local elementary and middle school students as a place to learn English and educate about waste as well as PPLH Conservation and Environmental Management.
Taru Hijau Komunitas telah melaksanakan aksi tanam pohon pada tanggal 26 Desember 2021 di Banjar Lebahsiung Desa Panji Anom dan tiap tahun berikutnya menjangkau sekala yang lebih luas. Pohon yang ditanam berupa Jambu mente sebanyak 150 pohon di sepanjang jalan dan daerah kering sekitar lebahsiung
Taru Hijau Komunitas have a program purchasing plastic waste that has not been wasted in the environment and supporting Ecobrick and Zero Waste education through @gersaplast (generation save plastics)
