The initiation of the GHC Green Hita Curriculum is an implementation of the Pabelasan part of the Tri Hita Karana concept. The environmental awareness movement continues to be intensified through various concrete actions. Taruna Hita Global Foundation (THG) launched the 1000 Biosaver Movement which was coupled with the inauguration of a canteen without plastic waste, as well as tree planting activities as a vision of the foundation's program, namely Green Hita. This activity was centered at SMPN 4 Sukasada, Panji Anom Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Wednesday (17/12/2025).
The launch of this environmentally friendly movement was officially opened by the Head of the Buleleng Regency Education, Youth and Sports Service (Disdikpora), Ida Bagus Gde Surya Bharata, S.Pd., M.A.P., accompanied by the Head of Panji Anom Village, Mr. Nyoman Mustanda, and attended by a number of invitees from various education elements, School Principals, Teachers and environmental observers.
The Taruna Hita Global Foundation said that this movement was a form of education as well as an invitation to all school members to care more about environmental sustainability, which could have an impact on students and the wider community.
According to him, making biosaver can be a solution to prevent flooding, as well as fostering habits of managing organic waste and reducing the use of plastic in the school environment.
"We are trying to create a school environment that is free from plastic waste by encouraging the use of leaves as food packaging and encouraging the creation of biosaver as an effort to prevent floods, process organic waste independently, and not throw rubbish anywhere. We will develop this movement in Buleleng Regency,"
This activity also supports the success of the Clean Bali Movement and the Clean Tourism Movement, based on the spirit of the governor's regulation in source-based waste management. Apart from Biosaver, we invite all residents to always get used to caring for the environment, including planting trees and reducing the use of plastic from sources, because so far waste management has relied on an open dumping system, namely transporting and piling up, giving rise to many problems that are difficult to solve.
